3D printing settings
- Compatible with most standard 3D printers, though this is a difficult print. Turn the model 45degrees to fit onto standard build plate. Change Top and Bottom layer directions (90 and 180) if you'd like the standard top layer directions.
- We recommend experimenting with the included test files to ensure the hinge and locking section don't fuse together.
- Due to the Print In Place focused design and ergonomic angle affecting the hinge and lock, your printer needs to be comfortable with rather steep overhangs, at least to the point where the overhangs wont drop down and fuse to the section underneath them.
- We advise a low layer height, our test were successful with 0.12mm layer height as well as bridging settings enabled as well as having adequate cooling.
- We recommend disabling supports, as it could gunk up the mechanism, though should you wish to enable it for the anchoring holes, ensure that they only support the overhangs for the holes.
