3D printing settings
The collar and hinge was designed with ease of printing in mine, ensuring that the whole unit is print-in-place friendly on most standard printers and profiles. The hinge has a radial tolerance of 0.4mm which most printers should be more than capable of printing without issue. The collars with the Tie Point Variation will require some supports as the loop does have a steep overhang, otherwise no supports are needed.
After printing simply remove the part, snap the hinge loose by pressing the collar closed, and work the hinge in a bit. Remove the supports (if used) and the collar is ready to trap its first victim.
